Barnefilmfestivalen April 26—May 1 2022
This year's main industry event was fully digital with a focus on supply and demand in the entertainment market of today. The industry content was available for all accredited guests from April 27th to May 9th.
We invited film institutes, TV networks, cinemas, festivals and members of the film production business to conversations about the market for kids content today.
Our work-in-progress presentations was also in digital format this year. We were proud to present 8 upcoming children and youth films from the Nordic countires. The films are in various stages of production, from pre-production to pending cinema release. All the industry content was available on a closed platform, accreditation access only. The presentations were in English. The industry content was available for all accredited guests from the April 27th to May 9th.
For the third year running, the media fund Zefyr and Kristiansand International Children Film Festival hosts a pitch session at this year's festival. An award of NOK 100.000 is presented to the best pitch of a project to be realized within the Zefyr region. This is our only time limited content.
