Margot and Marguerite are both 12 years old and they look identical. But they are not twins, and they don’t know each other. They are actually living 70 years apart, Margot in 2019 and Marguerite in 1942. But nonetheless, they have a few things in common. Margot has not seen her biological father in a few years and has a hard time getting along with her stepfather. Marguerite’s father is missing in the war. Through a mysterious and magical trunk, the two girls swap lives. For them to get back to their own lives they have to work on themselves, Margot has to become a tad more tolerant and considerate to those around her, while Marguerite has to toughen up and be more assertive. At the same time, they must find the other girl’s father.
