Gulbof –True Treasure

The fight to break free from social media

Gulbof is lonely but prefers to hang out with his 'screen friends' as opposed to real people in real life. One day, he is confronted with a surprise event he cannot ignore, even though he tries to. The film is inspired by the way some children this day and age grow up to become hooked on 'likes' from social media. They seek self-esteem and approval from people they do not actually know in order to feel good about themselves. The children of this phenomenon continues to get younger and younger.

Gulbof – True Treasure, is a short film about loneliness and friendship and the fight to a break free from the pressure of social media in favour of real-life relationships.
