12-year-old Jackie spends much of her time at the national art museum, Rijksmuseum, where her mother works. Jackie is an independent and clever girl who is used to handling most situations. But what does she do when Oopjen, a young lady from a Rembrandt painting, suddenly comes alive and appears in front of her looking for her long-lost sister? How will Oopjen, from 1634, handle life in the 21st Century? And what will the museum do when they realise the painting is empty and Oopjen has vanished?
Jackie & Oopjen won the award for Best Dutch Children's Film of 2020.
