When Jack's little brother Gio is born, Jack is led to believe Gio is special and has superpowers. But as they grow up, reality bites. Gio has Down's syndrome, not superpowers. About to embark on his new life at high school, Jack grows increasingly ashamed of his little brother and his unpredictable and spontaneous behaviour. Jack pretends that he doesn't have a brother and hides the existence of Gio from his new classmates and, above all, from Arianna, the first girl he ever loved. It becomes more and more difficult to conceal the truth, and as time passes Jack learns an important lesson - from Gio.
