My Name Is Baghdad

17-year-old Baghdad spends her days skating with the boys, hanging out with her mother’s friends and helping her little sister prepare for a fantasy life on Mars. Baghdad is independent and not afraid to speak up whenever she feels there’s been an injustice, either to her or anyone she cares for. One day she meets up with a gang of girls skating downtown, and discovers a new side of herself, skating and finds a new sense of community and sisterhood.
