Pia Gynt is a young girl who dreams of fame and fortune. She lives with her mother Åse, but due to financial difficulties they are facing eviction. Pia spots an opportunity for some fast cash and a dash of fame when she gets a place in the talent contest Monologbonanza.
The contest doesn't quite work out for Pia, and the whole thing ends up on social media. Suddenly, Pia is high demand with tempting offers coming her way!
