Shabu

Winner best Youth documentary IDFA

14-year-old Shabu had the perfect summer planned, with his girlfriend, his friends and his music. But everything is ruined when he has to pay back his grandmother for crashing her car, and to top it all off, she doesn’t even want to talk to him. The family decides he needs to sell ice cream and they help him get a job stocking shelves, but it is so boring and exhausting that Shabu comes up with a crazy plan to earn the money back in a different way.
