Bullets

Most get to choose their own destiny. Others are not that lucky.

12 year old Abdel is a quiet boy living in a city struggling with criminal gangs. His family is poor and he is forced to see his mom putting away groceries at the till in the store to afford the most essential food for him and his sisters. Luckily for Abdel, his teacher sees him and the potential in him. He motivates Abdel to work for his goals, becoming a veterinarian, and recommends him to a friend running a farm where he can tend to the animals after school. He loves it there and sees the light at the end of the tunnel for him and his family. But then his friend, Bashir, gets in trouble and needs his help. Abdel rescues Bashir out of a sticky situation and makes it clear that this is not the life for him. But Bashir and the criminal gang does not see it that way. Abdel is again forced to finish an assignment for the gang and this time it´s with deadly consequences.
