This year´s industry days will be held from the 22nd - 24th of April. We are pleased to invite you to come visit our festival in the beautiful coastal town Kristiansand, and spend a few days with us packed with films, industry events, and social gatherings.

How do you create an animated film that feels alive, physical, and authentic—without using artificial intelligence? At this year’s festival, we invite you to a special masterclass with Torgeir Sanders, CEO and co-founder of the animation studio Gimpville.

Shrimps and mingling in beautiful nature.
The shrimp party is a guest favourite. Mingle and make connections in idyllic surroundings, while you try our locally caught fresh shrimp.

The competition is organized in collaboration with Mediefondet Zefyr. Filmmakers with a desire to realize a cinema film (fiction/documentary) or a television series project connected to the South and/or West of Norway have the opportunity to win NOK 100,000. The winner will be announced during the official award ceremony on Friday the 24th of April.

FOH is the festival's annual work-in-progress presentation of upcoming Nordic films for children and young people. The event takes place at Aladdin Cinema. The event takes place in English.

After Films On the Horizon we will travel together to Kristiansand Zoo. There we will get real close to the animals and have a pleasant industry dinner.
Time: Departure to the Zoo at 6.30pm outside Kristiansand cinema
Return bus transport: approx. 11pm
