10.15-10.35  Aim - Navigating Multi-Format Universes with AI: Paths To Content Innovation and Audience Understanding


Kristiansand Zoo and inFuture talk about their experiences from the research project AIM (AI-driven Multiformat universe). The project is a collaboration with Qvisten Animation AS and the University of Agder and is supported by the Research Council's innovation programme. The aim of the project is to develop a method where artificial intelligence is used to create stories that hit the public across multiple platforms, such as films, series, games and activities in parks. The project has a particular focus on the use of data-driven insight to create content that can engage over time in an industry that is experiencing radical changes nationally and internationally.

How do the funding schemes for youth films work? Why do we hit so much better with children's films and war films than youth films?

Jason Bevan was responsible for innovation and the creative process at Warner Bros. Studios and has worked on major films such as "Harry potter", Fantastic Beasts", The Dark Knight trilogy, and the Lego Movies series. He reveals secrets from how great iconic films were made, and shares tips on how we can all use the same methods to create the next big idea.
